Daily Dose Chronicle 19: If You Can Dream It -You Can Achieve It!

Positive Affirmation:

How many of us dream of owning our own businesses, or have ideas that we believe can change the world? There are so many of us who work tirelessly for companies giving 100% or more of our talents and skills to find we are unappreciated and under paid. A fire burns inside that tells us to go ahead and start that consulting firm, you’re baking skills are excellent so open up that bakery you’ve been talking about, your passion for kids is so deep that you should finish your education and become a teacher, and the faith that you posses and the ministry you bring to everyone around you is a sure calling for you to become an Evangelist. There are so many other intuitions that we receive, but  yet we never follow through with them. God gives us the talents in which he wants us to use for the glory of his Kingdom. When we remain content and complain about our situations knowing that these talents we hide could benefit us financially, mentally and spiritually we are showing God our lack of faith. During these times of a weak economy we must not be concerned about the things of this world for we are under God’s Umbrella. He challenges us to stay the course and step out on unimaginable faith, speak our dreams into existence, request them unto God, and he will acknowledge and honor his promises unto us. Faith without Works is Dead, so we have to be confident and secure and never give up on our dreams. We are smart, educated, beautiful, passionate, and crafted beings by God that can offer so much to our society today, but we can’t hide behind our fears. Remember, “If at first we don’t succeed we should Try Try Again!”Let’s not waste another moment talking about it, we should Just Do It. The sky is the limit. If we can dream it! We Can Achieve It!

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Chronicle 19 Prayer
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Heavenly Father, you have given me so many talents in which I sometimes seem to hide for fear of trying and failing. I know in my heart I have this passion for owning my own business and honoring your name. Please Lord help me to NOT have a spirit of fear, and remind myself that I am a conqueror. Should I step out on faith and my attempts to succeed may fail; help me to understand I am not a failure but that there are things I may need to learn before I can be the success you want for me. I love you Lord and thank you for all the blessings you have given to me. I do not want to have a  Faith that is Dead, and I want to use my talents as so to glorify you and praise your holy name. In Jesus’s Name.

Peace & Blessings,

Daily Dose Chronicle 18: You Can Choose Your Friends But You Can’t Choose Your Family: Preserve Your Legacy

Positive Affirmation:

Family is the deep blood lines that connect us to a group of people who we view as our support, the one constant we have in life, and the ones whom we are closest too. Families keep us strong  when we are weak, our refuge when we are affected by the storms of life, and our most important relationships that we hold dear. Some of us as we grow older disconnect from our families due to stress, anger, misunderstandings, resentment, and unmet needs and expectations. We find it easier to spend time with friends then to spend time with our own dysfunctional families. There are also some of us who come from families that are relatively close and supportive, but things aren’t  always perfect and sometimes these families also experience  disappointments, pain, and frustration. Some of us are dealing with sibling rivalry, parents who put them down, carrying the financial burden for the entire family, or family members that don’t get along leading to lasting difficulties of resolve. So how and when does it get better? At some point we must face the reality that we are not always going to get along with our siblings, that we can’t always meet our parents expectations, and that some family members we just will never understand. But we must consider our future and the future of our children. Finding ways to preserve our families for the future generations will help lead them to normal healthy successful lives. In order to meet this difficult challenge we must learn to set boundaries and communicate our feelings effectively which will help us to repair and bond our relationship with our family. It may seem challenging and not everyone will cooperate for a solution, however, knowing that we have made life changing steps towards strengthening our family ties and interactions on terms that are beneficial for us as individuals and our family members will help preserve our Family Legacy. It will also help our children understand the importance of  Family Ties as they grow up and are faced with family issues of their own. Our Christian Faith helps keep us rooted in our identity, as we do not want to get lost in the sea of noise. We must continue to stay in constant prayer so that our family remains steadfast because of the beautiful reminder of what it means to be a family.

1 Peter 3:8-9

King James Version (KJV)
8Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
9Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

Chronicle 18 Prayer:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Daily Dose Chronicle 17: Having Faith Means It Isn’t Necessary To Have All The Answers

Positive Affirmation:

Imagine what life would be like if we had all the answers to life’s questions. Do we really want to know the outcome of every moment, every joy, and every challenge? Having Faith in God and faith in yourself means trusting beyond explanation of logic. While faith is unseen, it can be felt in the heart – a safe and loving place. Let your faith rest there!

Hebrews 11:1

Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

(Eat Your Peas Faithfully:Simple truths and happy insights! Words by Cheryl Karpen)

Chronicle 17 Prayer:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Daily Dose Chronicle 16: Living A Life of Love

Positive Affirmation:

It is a known fact that Love comes from God and God is love. We must all try to live a life of love and pray to God that he show us what “True Love” is. Once we receive it we must unselfishly give it away to others. Loving your neighbor as you love yourself is an example of how God wants us to respond to his love and freely give it to others in return. Love should be our motivation for action. We must speak kind encouraging words, and bless those who may be in need. Because of God’s amazing, unconditional, accepting love we are sustained. Openly giving love and showing others how to love unconditionally; gives us inner peace and opens the pathway for obtaining the power of  Christ centered living. We love because he First Loved Us!

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 KJV

“16Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.”

Chronicle 16 Prayer:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Daily Dose Chronicle 15: He May Not Come When We Want Him: But He’s Right On Time!

Positive Affirmation:

It is such a joy to finally have everything together, our walk with God is in the right place, we feel financially secure, our family is healthy and happy, we are blessed with our jobs, and we feel good about our purpose and vision to only have trials turn our life upside down? Many of us have gone through this many times before, or are experiencing for the first time since beginning our walk with God.These trails and test completely remove us from the joy and security we hold dearly, and we begin to wonder why God has betrayed us. We become angry and quickly begin to question why we made the efforts to seek God and live our lives according to hip purpose. Why does God not heal or help us RIGHT NOW when we know he has all power in his hands; and yet he still allows us to suffer? We pray, and He doesn’t deliver. We beg, He doesn’t answer. We cry out, and there is silence. In the midst of our sadness, tears and confusion we don’t realize that God has never left our side. The trials and tribulations we experience are just TESTS of our faith. God wants us to never doubt him and always keep the faith because, Prayer changes things. God will go through it with us until the end therefore, we must remember to not focus on our suffering, but to give God the Glory through our Good times and Bad times. We have to transform our attitudes and open our hearts so God can reveal the reasons behind the tests, and we can be assured that he will give us peace and comfort in all things that work for our good and his glory. He may not come when we want him, but he will be there right on time. He’s an On Time God. OH YES HE IS!

Romans 8:18, 28
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us… And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Chronicle 15 Prayer:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Lord, I have prayed for your deliverance in times of trouble and you have not come to save me when I want you too. I don’t know how to deal with understanding my suffering  when I  know that you have the power to heal me and you don’t do it in my timing. Please help me to focus on you Lord during my times of trials so I don’t abandon walking in your way and in your light. Give me patience to understand I must suffer just as you suffered to save a sinner like me. Sometimes I just have to wait out the storm until you lift me up in the sunshine. I so desperately want to remove all selfishness out of my heart so that I can focus on glorifying you outwardly and inwardly. Lord, please release this spirit of fear so that I don’t quench my spirit preparing for the next unexpected set back. I can’t promise Lord, that each time I go through my trials and tests that I will not feel sadness, so I ask in your holy name to help me obtain faith as small as a mustard seed to endure all my troubles until you cease the storms and wipe away my tears. I will trust you and will continue to praise your name in all things. For weeping may endure for the night, but Joy will come in the morning. In Jesus’ Name.

Blessings,

Daily Chronicles 14: They Hung Him High, They Stretched Him Wide, He Hung His Head, For Us He Died: That’s Love!

Positive Affirmation:
We sometimes go through life feeling unloved and uncared for. When trials come into our life and we deal with the aftermath of putting things back together we may think we are all alone. We become afraid of the challenges and don’t know what to do or where to go. Our enemies try so hard to ruin our lives and the strength to shake them off makes us feel as if we have lost the battle. Emotionally, physically, and spiritually we are broken and Peace cannot be found. Withdrawing from family, friends, and our church family we are left wondering, “Who Will Help Me Now”. The sins we commit put us in a place of denial where we feel that we are not worthy to be in the presence of the Lord and that our sin can’t be or won’t be forgiven. Then, there are some of us who just can’t wrap our thoughts around God, Jesus, and the After Life. Some that believe if God loves us why do so many bad things happen in the world and to the ones we love?

When does this spiritual warfare end, Is there hope, and do we have a chance to redeem ourselves? Though, we struggle with our earthly identification we must trust and believe that through our personal trials, our wounded spirits, and sinful nature; we are children of God. A father who knows that the flesh will get week, but trust we will not succumb to the wills of the Devil because He is Almighty. He is a God who manifested himself in the Flesh, born to Mary and Joseph who named him Jesus, Preached the Gospel, Healed and Produced Miracles, Taught his 12 disciples to draw all men unto him, was betrayed by Judas, was denied by Peter, was falsely accused and made fun of and spit on, was beaten merciless and  made to carry his on cross , was weak in mind, body, and soul as  they nailed him to the cross and from weakness he rolled off –  But pulled HIMSELF back on, was nailed to the cross cried out to God asking “Why  has thou forsaken me”, he yielded his last breath hung his head and died upon the cross for all us. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL!!! On the third day he rose as so the BIBLE would be fulfilled. God is not Dead.  He Is Still ALIVE!! Now Who Can Say That’s Not Love? For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. When we don’t feel loved by others remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on the Cross – That’s Love, When the bills are due and you don’t know where you will get the money to pay for them – Hold on for God is an on time God, When sin seems to over take your life and you are struggling and straining – Confess your sins and Repent – You will be forgiven.

If we will call on the name of the Lord; he will deliver us from all things that try to come against us. No Greater Love than this than a man lay down his life for a friend. Now That’s Love!
John 3:16 -21

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. ”

Chronicle 14 Prayer:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Daily Chronicle 13: Knowing Your Worth and Value: Will Empower Your Life!

Positive Affirmation:

How often do we find ourselves wondering what is this life all about, what important role do we play if any in the lives of our loved ones, and is my existence relevant? Seeking to find our very significance in what other people have, what people say about us, and continually remain in relationships where we question our importance. When we give others the power to determine our self-worth, how much we are loved, and  what role we play in society. It is time to lose the chains that keep us bound from transforming into our True Self! With God on our side there is nothing we can’t become and our lives and steps are ordered by the Lord. The beautiful thing about God creating us is that we were born with the ultimate gift of living in Paradise with Our Father, who created us in his image. We have to stop putting weight in what other people think or our own efforts to damage our self-esteem and worth. There is great worth within us no matter what we look like, what we do for a living, who our kids become, and what we have obtained in life. You can find unfading beauty of a gentle and quite spirit in the sight of God. It is great knowing that a Forever God will forever Love and Value us cause we are connected to him in this life and in Eternity.

Matthew 10:29, 31
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the  ground apart from the will of your Father…

So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

Chronicle 13 Prayer:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Daily Dose Chronicle 12: Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it: Keep Pressing On Your Reward Will Come

Note: We have missed a couple of days on the Daily Dose Chronicles hope you find hope in today’s Chronicle 12 ~

Positive Affirmation:

Sometimes we get worn down and weary. Working hard to manage our personal and professional life can get complicated and stressful. We must also find time to play our roles as either wife, mother, daughter, friend, or sister. We try so hard to do the right things, but sometimes we give into temptations. We “Drop The Ball”, lose focus, and then worry how God plans on forgiving us. There are some of us who don’t worry about our indiscretions and believe that if we don’t know the truth we can’t be at fault. Remaining oppressed and depressed in our sinful actions digging deeper into our despair as if Jesus never died on the cross is not a way out. We hold on to hurt, habits, grudges, envy, anger, and convictions that we never seem to find the narrow way that leads to a . We must not give up hope! We must be lifted Up and remember to keep our eyes on the Power of God and not our issues or circumstances. We must pray for perseverance so we can reap the rewards of a peaceful life in Christ. It’s never easy walking in the way of the Lord, but you must keep Pressing On until you hear him say “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter into the joy of your lord. What a day that will be when we see Jesus face to face! I read it, I believe it, and receive it. Together let’s have The Victory!

Hebrews 12:1-3

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and lets us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

Chronicle 12 Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for all things that you have blessed me with. I thank you for your grace and covering by your blood. Though sometimes I might lack in my honoring of you, I know that you are a forgiving God. There are things I have done in my life and are currently doing that I am ashamed of. I carry these guilty feelings around even after begging for forgiveness and I still hold on to these convictions deep in my heart, and my soul cannot rest. Lord I don’t understand why I do things that I know are not pleasing to you and find myself doing them anyway. Please give me a clean heart Lord. Help me to make good decisions that will grow your kingdom. Help me to know deep down inside that when you gave yourself life for a sinner like me, way back on Calvary ,my sins were forgiven and I can’t keep carrying this weight. I want to serve and honor you lord.  I want to grow more and more each day in your word and Father above, I want my Light to shine everywhere so men can see. You have given me wings so I can fly and I have to trust myself to do the right things in which you have entrusted me to do as an heir to your Kingdom. God you are so Marvelous and you are a True and Living God. Thank you for your Love, your Mercy, and most of all for Loving me enough to die upon the cross. But it wasn’t over cause Lord you rose on the 3rd day and that gives me Victory in knowing that you will never leave me nor forsake me. I will keep Pressing on until you say Well Done. In Jesus’ Holy Name.

Daily Dose Chronicle 11: Friendship: Finding A Forever Friend

Positive Affirmations:

It has been said, “Friends come a dime a dozen”, but is that what we truly want? So many of us spend countless hours, days, and years building friendships to only find out that the friends we thought we had were never really true or loyal to us. We rack our brains trying to figure out how the relationship or relationships we thought we had with our “Best Friend(s)” could go so horribly wrong. It takes time and effort to open our lives to people in hopes that our personal business will be confidential, however to find out that our so call “Friend(s)” have spread our business like a wild-fire with untrue facts about us. Although, this can be disappointing it is sometimes best to cut ties from people who don’t have our best interest and are only seeking to make us miserable due to their jealous, envious, malicious attitudes. When relationships like these are ended to due miscommunicated information, hurtful actions toward another, or perhaps just pure jealousy at it’s finest; there is hope that the friendship can be mended. It is rare, but that these relationships can be mended, but it will take either party to admit their faults, forgive, and move forward. In most cases ,these relationships always end bitter-sweet. As we reflect upon our Friendships we should treasure the close friends, casual friends, acquaintances, and especially our “Best Friends” for the joys each one brings to our lives. Our loyal sisters are those who are “Ride or Die”, will always be there, and encourage us to be our best. They are the ones who will tell you the truth, hold your secrets, and share the same values and moral beliefs. They are our faithful companions. We should rejoice in our relationships that are God-given. The saying might be true for some that “Friends come a dime or dozen”, but we should want “Best Friends” that are Friends Forever!

Proverbs 18:24
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Chronicle 11 Prayer:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Lord, I thank you for the blessings of opening my eyes and starting another day to seek your Kingdom. I am so glad that you sent your son Jesus Christ to die for my sins. I believe it when I read, ” Your yoke is easy and your burden is light”. In my life I have struggled to maintain friendships. People who I thought were my friends I have soon learned were my enemies. I have trusted these people with my personal information and I have cared and loved for them as if they were my blood sisters. Because of the broken relationships I have experienced, I have difficulty trusting others who you may have brought into my life Lord. Lord, help me to let go of these friendships that have failed, teach me to forgive them in spite of the negative affects I have suffered, show me Lord how to be a friend like you. For your word says, “You will never leave me or forsake me”. I trust you Lord, because through all my trials and tribulations you never left my side and you never hurt me. I want friendships that last forever that bare your love in it. I want friendships that mean more than just hanging with someone or sharing secrets. I want a sisterhood that has been brought together by you Lord and I want to feel secure that I can share everything in my life with them, especially your living word. God, you are my strength and my salvation. If you are for me; who can be against me? Thank you for your Grace and your Mercy. Most of all Thank You God for being a Friend who is a Friend Forever!

Daily Dose Chronicle 10: Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder: But With God I’m Beautiful Inside and Out

Positive Affirmation:
Our world can get so focused on the outward appearance; such as how we are dressed, what kind of hairstyle we have, what type of purse we carry, and if we are what society considers “PRETTY”. So many of us concern ourselves with how we look that we miss the beauty in what God made us to be. With God, his admiration for us is never how we look, but what is in our hearts. We should be pleased with what God has given us on the outside and what inner character he finds within us. If our inner character is not pleasing to God just image how we look on the outside. They say, ” Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, but I believe every woman was made in his image and we must honor how beautifully he created us while in our mother’s womb. And we all know that God doesn’t make mistakes. We must except what God has blessed us with, and sometimes just DARE TO BE DIFFERENT! With God in our heart and in our life we are Beautiful on the Inside and Out!

1 Samuel 16:7
“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart”.

Chronicle 10 Prayer:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Lord, we live in a world that seeks to judge by the outer appearance. I am guilty of falling into the trap in which society has set an example of what’s “Hot” and “What’s Not”. I find myself judging other people when I am in the store, beauty salon, the mall, and at entertainment functions. I have been so caught up with how someone looks on the outside that I never give them a chance to prove who they are on the inside. If someone doesn’t look like me, talk like me, dress like, or have their hair on point like me I am so quick to judge their beauty. Because of my insecurities I am quick to dismiss the inner beauty these people might posses. I feel so humiliated and embarrassed because I know as your child Lord you do not have respect of persons. What beauty you have given to one you have given to all for we are all unique children of yours. Lord please help me to not judge others so that I am not judged in return, remove this spirit that I have within me that makes me agree with society on what is considered “Beauty”, and Lord please allow me to be my true self and love the skin I’m in. Help me to become humble and allow me to see the true beauty I am without the weave, fake eyelashes, plastic surgery, designer clothes, fake nails and handbags (to name a few). I want your beauty to shine through and within me as I learn to praise you more and more each day. Lord I ask you to be my guiding light so that the world can see how the Love of Christ shines in me. I acknowledge my faults Lord and I want to make change as I continue my journey in seeking your Kingdom. I take where I spend eternity very seriously, and I want to serve you with my whole heart. I know my beauty comes from within. Thank you Lord for being you and loving me. I want to forever be in your presence. In Jesus’ Name.
